Story of Sour Plums and Rotten Apples

Maya was a sunshine girl. she was a warm sweet natured girl who was always laughing during her college days but her days were clouded after her marriage. Maya's husband was an wastrel who spent every penny he earned on liquor.

Liquor was not only the issue for Maya. Her husbad used to beat her with mop sticks and whatever his drunken hands laid upon. Maya was heart broken. She was looking for  job to earn money for her. she liked education  and her husband friend sent her resume  to a maritime university. Maya husband also worked in shipping. Maya's husband's brother in law of CEO of a shipping company. He also promised to talk to Dean and get her placed in the Maritime university. Maya interview date is det and on the day of the interview Dean informs her that her husbands brother- in - law never put a word for her.  Well we have such rotten tomatoes who put the guise of healthy apple. These rotten tomatoes only secure position for themselves. They are misogynist who put up the act of good Samaritan . Such two faced personalities should been given a taste of their own medicine. Power money position may favour him now but one day tables will turn. How all these things corrupt men.




Indian womans are brought up like slaves to serve their husbands. Maya had changed her dressing style and tried to behave how her husband would like her. and how he wanted her. I am amazed that such hedonisitc males exist in this world in the 21st century. these Hedonistic honchos take pleasure in belitting their women folk, abusing her verbally and physically.  To top it off Parents who disown daughters saying ur problem take care of it. Parents who knew his attitude yet arranged for marriage should be punished too. As a parent you have brought her up and she accepts ur judgement of a partner doesnt the parent be a little extra careful in arranging marriage. if she is not getting good alliance parents get rid off her at the earliest alliance is like forsaking a daughter who has believed that her parents.parents who say whatever problem you have with your husband you should solve it. Even if he chases you out of the house at the dead of night where dogs howl. Merciless husband pushing her out of her home. She had to sit outside the house. This house is typical house where each floor has three houses. maya and her husband lived in middle house on second floor. As she had to endure the shame of sitting outside her home.Could God be more cruel than this. Her neighbour's brother in law who was staying with them returned from his night shift. He was shocked to see disheveled Maya sitting outside her house. It was a well known that they were newly married and new there. Maya was scared of becoming gossip of her complex.

Maya husband was the sour plum which never bothered to turn sweet with age.

Kannagi Kannagi is an embodient of Virtue in Tamilnadu. we can see Kannagi statue in Poompuhar where her right hand (Dakshina Hastam) is in Abhaya mudra . Abhay mudra means offering protection to people who submit to her feets. The left hand ( Vama Hastam) is in Kati mudra or Kati Vilambitha mudra. Kati means 'hip' and 'Vilambitha' means hanging. the hand is bend at wrist and placed beneath left of hip. the significance of this mudra is to offer protection to devotees i.e. in times of deluge the waters shall not go beyond the hip.
