Matsya Avatar Satya Yuga Vaivasvata Manu was the son of Vivasvan (Surya) and Saranyu . He was a just and noble ruler. So he was also called as Satyavrata and  Shraddhadeva. Manu and his wife , Shrradha engaged in secular ritual activities. one day Manu  was at the river offering his daily ablutions to the Surya devta. Muneeswaran Koil A massive Muneeswaran koil on the banks of the river Adayar. Lord Muneeswaran is a village diety which guards the people . the statue of Muneeswaran Koil is located in outskirts of the village. The gigantic statue of Lord Muneeswaran instills fear of wrong and sense of righteouness in the heart of the people. They are claimed to be angry gods who cannot tolerate injustice towards the righteous. He wears a head gear  with Ganesha and adorns Makara Kundalam in both earlobes. He wears Ashtalakshmi neck ornament with Gayathri Devi as pendant. Yazh It an ancient Indian instrument made of stringed wires.  The below yazh is shaped in the form of Makara and called Makara Yazh. Makara is the vehicle of Lord Varuna and sometimes river Ganga is also shown atop Makara. Nava Veeras They are brave attenders of Lord Muruga. They were born to Nava Shakthis. Nava shakthis  were women born out of nine precious stone which fell from the anklet of Parvathi Devi's lotus feet.  The scattered ratnas from Parvathi's anklet became Nine womans.  The Navashakthi's are Manickavalli ( Ruby ie red in colour) , Muthuvalli (Pearl ie white in colour), Pushparagavalli(Yellow sapphire), Komedhagavalli (Hessonite  reddish brown), Vaiduryavalli ( Cat's eye Pale green colour) Vairavalli( Diamond beautiful like a white diamond) , Margathavalli (Emerald ie green in colour), Pavalavalli(coral Dull red in colour) and Neelavalli(Blue Sapphire dark blue ) Accidentally NavaShakthi was impregnated by Lord Shiva as his eyes fell on them.  Parvathi was furious at Navashakthi who were pregnant because of Lord Shiva's gazed upon them whereas she is the rightfull person who should bear his child and her inability to bear a child incensed her anger.

In Kati hastham, the hand is bend and held at the hip of the Gods. Thirupathi Balaji and Murugan both have this Kati hastham with their left hands. The left hand ( Vama Hastam) is in Kati mudra or Kati Vilambitha mudra. Kati means 'hip' and 'Vilambitha' means hanging. the hand is bend at wrist and placed beneath left of hip. the significance of this mudra is to offer protection to devotees i.e. in times of deluge the waters shall not go beyond the hip.
