Isa Khan Niazi was one of the nobles of Sher Shah Suri . It is found on the way to Humayun's tomb.This enclosure contains both tomb and mosque which was formed during his lifetime . The base
of the tomb is octagonal in shape.The tomb was built 20 years before Humayun's tomb. The tomb is characterized by canopies, lattice screens and glazed tiles.
The Isa Khan tomb is surrounded by Sunken Garden. It is one of the oldest sunken Garden and later these Sunken Garden idea was followed at Akbar's tomb and Taj Mahal.

Climb a fleet of stairs and you enter the doorway leading to Isa tomb. The famous Sunken garden is seen.
Isa Khan Masjid is three bay mosque located on the western side .
Each side has three bay entrance with ornate arches decorated with glazed tiles of blue colour.
The interior contains six graves, but it is difficult to spot the grave of Isa Khan and nothing much is known about the occupant of the other five graves
Lattice Screens in the wall of Isa tomb gives way to light to enter the tomb and also restrict excessive light that may lead to heat. Lattice screens have so many geometrical patterns. The tomb's seven walls have lattice screens and one wall has Mihrab
An inscription on a red sand stone slab indicates that the tomb of Masnad Ali Isa Khan, son of Umar Khan, the chief Chamberlain. A chamberlain is one who manages the household of monarch, Islam Shah Suri was the monarch and Umar Khan was his chamberlain.
